What is Data Transfer App for Android?

In keeping with the scheduling of last year, Pixel phones will take place early next month this year. Google has presumably submitted a new ‘Data Transfer Tool’ software to the Play Store, a device framework for the next Pixel phones, in preparation for the launch.

As you already know, Android also has a simple conversion service in stock that will migrate those data and software from an old Android smartphone to another one. The original version of the Pixel and Pixel XL is improved, which allows specific data from iPhone to be transferred using the included Type C-to-Type-A adapter.
Only the initial screen that asks users to take an old Android or iOS device and to transfer data from is shown on a single screenshot. The handset on the right seems to be a Pixel 2 XL with G6-like rounded corners and tiny lizards. That is just an illustration, and the measurements may not be entirely correct. This must be remembered.

Shortly before this article was posted, Google switched the screenshot above off by utilising the screenshot below. The new image seems to be from a Nexus Nougat device, and indeed from the existing Google data transfer tool, that is Android Nougat. You can see the same screenshot if you glance at the old Play Store app tab.

The latest functionality of this newest Data Transfer programme over the current Pixel Transfer method is not entirely obvious. The changelog states, “Updated USB Migration for our large users,” but it looks as if copied from the old app listing. Still, it’s the only one that you can instal (presumably lock on pixels 2), and the picture reads: “The system app will automatically be installed on your phone.” You can not instal that app on anything.
